Fraud SCAM Fraud Claimed to be from Vodaphone, said that an attempt to change my account number had been flagged up, called my number to verify with an old address (first flag) Second flag was when I asked if I could have a verification email I received a what amounted to a "yes but hurry up and give me the number" And of course, when I received a recovery/account change text, the first words of said text were DO NOT TELL ANYONE THIS NUMBER, POLICE OR VODAPHONE EMPLOYEES INCLUDED. SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. SCAM Phoned a few minutes ago and I stupidly answered despite not recognising the number. A foreign sounding woman asked if she was speaking to ...my name.. but when I asked who was calling she put the phone down. Suggests a scam.

Definitely a call center from background noise and when you call back the number goes straight back to that operater without company name total scam

Fraud, recorded message, something about card transactions with Amazon for £300 and another international one for £1,300, asking you to press 1 to allow these to go ahead. This is in my view very dangerous.

SCAM - they'll send you a fake track and trace message which takes you to an official looking website but it's not the government's one. If you fill your details they'll take money out of your account. Watch out - SCAM
