Called today and asked for me by name. Sounded suspicious I did not acknowledge that but asked "who is this?" a couple of times and the line then went dead. Rang 1471 to get the number and then called it back with 141 in front of it and the line; thus this is one of latest scams where to callers hide behind a false but apparently valid so as to get round call identity phones

These call Are becoming more and more frequent and even though I have asked to be removed from their database I still Get them I even got a call 10 mins after I had been quite rude to the man on the previous call ! They are persistent and asking for my details so that they can send me a link to a webinar even though I have been very clear that I am not interested. I think it might be a phishing call

Text telling me my EE billing details are wrong asking me to click on a link to verify information! I don't thinks so! my bills are totally up to date so how can they do this!! really annoying - suspected scam/fraud. Who knows what would happen if i had followed the link in the text??
Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

Automated call Recorded voice telling me I had made an international money transfer from one of my bank cards. This is the second call telling me this today, the first was from 01482354676. Exactly the same message and voice. Usual instructions to press phone buttons to approve or cancel payment etc. Number added to blocked calls list and to BT black list. These calls are dangerous.

The woman told me she was from a Talk Talk department and was calling about my router. After making her repeat the same thing several times I told her I had had the same or similar calls about 150 times, knew she was nothing but a criminal and.....by that time she had rung off! As usual, the number she had used for the call was as fictitious as her story. The crooks use different invented numbers each time.

Scammer - Says they are BT openreach, then proceeds to say there is a problem with the router and you need to give them details to fix it. When I said I don't have BT services, the guy said "I know, BT is the only distributer over the country!" Really? Perhaps they need to do their homework. This call was a follow-up call from the Met Police after I reported a theft via their 101 non-emergency number. They repeated to me details from my 101 call, so I have no doubt it was the police. I imagine its unknown etc as it comes through their switchboard, I get the same when the wife rings me from work phone.
