My wife took the call and person with a Asian voice started to go on about my council tax and when i asked why he was calling at this time he said it was very important and i told him all government offices are closed and that this is a failed scam and he and his boss must be as thick as hell to call at this time then i put the phone down. Beware its another scam.
Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.

Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. Scammers, never get through to know who it is but they've been calling on different numbers for months this just appears to be a new number they use.
I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.

Called me twice this morning on my mobile. No message left. If I don't know the number I don't answer, if they are human and want me they will leave a message, if not it's a machine checking to see if I'll answer so they know they have a valid number. Whatever they were trying to sell me hasn't worked and I'm happy about that at least. Number blocked.
