Asian accented male called "George" who wanted to know which handset and mobile provider I was using. I asked if he would like to stop wasting time and just ask for my credit card details. He hung up.

I was targeted for an unusually precise scam 26/05/23 in which a group telephoned me apparently with specific knowledge of my bank organisation, my name and mobile number. The scam started by suggesting there was fraudulent activity on my bank account, and that the account was being temporarily suspended. What surprised me was that they knew who I banked with, and also spoofed the relevant bank telephone number

SCAM A chap (English) using this number rang to try to sell me a Medical Safety Pendant. Wouldn't say how he got my number but asked if I was over 50. When I asked if the call was the result of 'random' dialling, he ended the call. Quite possibly a scam!

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. This number belongs to a foofing contractor. I can't remember the company name. I have been messaging him asking for an invoice for work he has done but he seems very reluctant to give me the invoice. I am trying to track down the company name.

A man with an Asia accent calling himself Mark said he was calling about our landline. A likely scam. I put down the phone.

After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.

I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

Telemarketing. My mobile flagged the number as spam so I answered with my usual 'can i help you' and a woman asked for me, i replied again 'can i help you' and she started talking so fast about some sort of market research. TBH i didnt hear what she was saying cus she talked so fast! When i tried to interrupt her she said something like 'im going to call you everyday' then hung up. Ive blocked the number now.
