Most likely spam. I live in Ireland and no one from London should be ringing me because I have no business in London whatsoever. No family no bank account nothing. Rang back and gave a tone and immediately call ended.

Tried to pretend he was my son via text message asked me if I could make some payments as bank was frozen and he was stressed out. The grammar and punctuation told me it wasn’t my son as he never uses punctuation. Very dodgy My son and myself are in the UK the map shows this number is Russian origin. Beware

O2 scam, some Indian bloke pretending to be O2 and making an offer ie mine was 40% off my bill (which I didn't believe and put phone down then 2 minutes later I get 2 messages from O2 the first warning about scams the second giving a code to access my account)

They said they needed to verify I owned this number but couldn't tell me why this was neede

Got a text from this number 07305 096031 saying: Oi oi, would you be able to sub me 60 til the 24th? I have no idea who this is, and I’m not going to call or reply either as I suspect it’s a scam. Wondering how they got my phone number though!

Caled at 16:15. An English accented woman launched into "I'm from the Community Energy Review, & want to tell you I am not selling anything..." I cut her off & told her she was lying, that she wanted someone to check my insulation & that they would be trying to sell me "upgraded" insulation. There was a long silence so I hung up. This is an Inland Revenue scam. They sent me a robo-call sying I was going to be prosectuted by the Government under the guise of something I'd done associated with Inland Revenue. I wait for the someone to come on the line who asked 'How can I help you?'. I replied by saying 'You called me'. They dropped off the call.

Caller hangs up after 2 rings, treat as dangerous.
