I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.

The man on the phone was saying to let him ask me 4 questions. He said he was from a company called UK Today and i asked him what this was and his response was constantly to let him ask me 4 questions so i hung up the call
Keep getting calls from numbers which start with 01273901924 upto 1937, these are scam calls and they change the last two numbers all the time but its the same scammers and i just let the phone ring as i have a long list of scam calls and i can only block 50 on my phone.

its a scam even if it is 118 because they sell your data at no gain to you. If its unsolicited hang up because I have never seen any unsolicited call from an unknown person being to your benefit - normally its quite the opposite.

High premium mobile used by unsuspecting hospital patients to phone out. They will think its a free mobile as its in hospital but it charges high costs. If you phone the number you will be warned that it is a high premium . Cannot understand why hospitals allow this number to be used

Called pretending we had bee undercharged for Electricity we arent with EDF
Received a call today (25.01.23) stating I was being investigated by HMRC and to press number 1 to speak with an operative. I just did nothing and the call was ended automatically. I'm guessing this was a scammer! Blocked of course.

I received a phone call from a man called Charlie who was calling on behalf of yourlottoservice.l will be part of a syndicate of thousands hoping to win a lot of money each week. Missed calls Rang on two consecutive days. Missed calls both times. Surely any reputable company would leave a message? Especially a mobile phone company? Everyone knows about phone scams which are getting to record levels. If a company cold calls to sell you something, they have to check the Telephone Preference Service first. Therefore as they’ve ignored TPS and not left an explanatory message on two occasions, I’ve blocked the number assuming this is a scam, spoofing Vodafone.
