Automated voice telling me somebody was trying to withdraw money form my visa account suspect it is a scam as my bank will send me text and ask me to verify by logging into my account

SCAM First a silent call to establish there is a number. Second call, a foreign voice, purporting to be calling on behalf of UK HMRC (tax collection) talking about fine/charge for an infraction, and inviting you to press 1 to discuss it.

Visa fraud dept SCAM claimed a charge of £800 was used in America on a gambling site. Lying, thieving Asian call centre. Number blocked ????

Came through to my mobile as suspected spam blocked by provider so my phone didn't ring read reviews so marked it dangerous

There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. This number called my landline this morning. Indian/Pakistani lady claiming to be from BT. Said my internet speed wasn't up to scratch and did I know how to check the speed. I said I did and checked regularly. She asked when I last checked and what was the speed. I said I checked yesterday and the speed was was what I expected. The call was then ended abruptly from their end. Now blocked.

Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

Phone did not show a call so likely I blocked this before LEft a message about donating money or confirm name phone no to stop further calls Possibly call cost trap as well as a spam scam phishing fraud call Blocked

Claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Service. I asked them where they were and he said London. I asked how the weather was in London, and he said the weather was fine. I replied and said it was raining in London, to which he said that he likes rain so it is fine. I called him a liar, he hung up. Scam.
