I ordered a sim card for my daughter on sunday. And today i get a phone call. I was asleep so didnt here my phone go off and when i woke decided to google the number. And this came up so ive added the no to auto block

I got the call just a few minutes ago. I did not recognise it. In let it ring. At the end it rang off and left no message.I am old and not keen to trust ssuch callers

Called Sunday morning claiming to be doing a health survey for the government. Told them i needed proof. Gave me a couple of freephone numbers to ring which also seem dodgy. having read this thread I ve no doubt they will phone again but forewarned is forearmed.

I was stupid enough to try to return this call. Automated message didn t tell me who the company was and put me in a queue so I hung up.

This number rings, you answer, lots of noise in back ground, nobody speaks, then hangs up. Is this a pervert or something???

Yes this number is AO.com and yes they do know what you ordered. However this is the Sales end of their organisation so BEWARE (Its probably even a separate company just trading under the same name) . They are calling on the pre-text of your order with AO.com but are very aggressively trying to sell you appliance breakdown cover! Their script is well rehearsed leading you to believe they re on the service side of your purchase and calling about further delivery information. Try ringing them on this numb

Called once, hung up on answering. Called back. Claimed to be AA Accident Care Team. Had no accident at all since driving. Never been with the AA! Bunch if scammers!

Trying to sell cavity insulation. We ve had several calls and persist despite us telling them to stop. Our number is TPS registered.

Called but didn't identify themselves to my BT 8600 anti nuisance phone system and hung up. Presumed junk call.

Phoning 3 or4 times a day. Saying I believe you have debt which I certainly don t have.

Called asking to verify my name & address, they had both wrong, so then wanted my name & address. I asked why but this Indian or Pakistani kept waffling & would not say why, so I hung up. Next time I shall use a tuning fork over the ear piece, so it explodes his end!
