The message claims to be a delivery driver from Evri saying that my parcel was unable to be delivered. In the message there was a HTML link. Needless to say I didn't follow it up. Seems sketchy.
The caller said she was from O2 and We were due for a free gift of Wireless Headphones as a security what was my place of birth. I found out that the fraudsters had chaned my password by going on the O2 website and requesting a 6 digit number and asking me to give it to them.. I don't thimk I have suffered losses . I obviously reset my password. The caller was an Indian female, this is not unusual as, Indian Call Centres are experts in fraud I have been involved in investigating Indian call centre.
Telephone 01782256242 was the number I picked up from distinguishes 1471 yet when I google this number it comes up for 01782256242 - someone supposedly from Microsoft asking about my computer at 07:13 in the morning, told him I didn’t have a computer and git cut off

If the number is exposed, they just generate a new number and continue scamming people in the US. the actual number is mirrored to a us number to hide it's origin.

Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing. Beware, very clever question structure to get you to reveal sensitive data.

01387404015 Missed call but notice from reviews that is yet another Accident Assist Scam. Normally they call me from different Aberdeen Numbers, so now they're trying to catch me out by phoning me from Dumfries. The number 01736 735261 called me about 10.30am 28/06/23 and it was a recorded message from an International Banking service stating I had made a payment of £300 to Amazon and £1100 to another provider. Told me to press 1 if correct and 2 to speak with an adviser. Pressed 2 and answered by "This is Officer Stephen, how can I help". When I asked which organisation he represented the phone went dead.
They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.
