Bank security scammer
Man phoned claimed to be from UK today, although a quick Google search nothing came up. Unusual as it's a bank holiday Monday.. asked for 30 seconds of my time.. asked if I was a home owner, and what age bracket I fell in.. 30 seconds were up so I hung up
Caller didn't speak but is staying on the line for a long time. Not sure how this amounts to a scam - just a waste of lots of people's time I think.
I had a message from this number saying hi mum I’ve dropped my phone, can you message me on this number. I replied asking who it was. Then got a WhatsApp saying hi mum it’s Jenny are you busy. I don’t know this person, and suspected a scam, so I blocked the number.

SCAM claiming to be Amazon customer service and I apparently have an unexpected charge. The guys name is Peter he doesn't realise that his name is mentioned when leaving the voicemail of the automated message.
Said my bank account had an unusual transaction and to press numbers for info so I ignored it and hung up.

Tried to pretend he was my son via text message asked me if I could make some payments as bank was frozen and he was stressed out. Apparently a company called UK National. Called wanting to ask questions around my personal data, which I wouldn't provide. Requested how the caller had access to my data and to remove it, else will be reporting to the ICO. Caller had no idea what the ICO/GDPR was.
