SCAM This is someone claiming to be someone from sky saying the router speed in my area was being checked and the engineers were making changes to speed it up. He asked me to install a support app on my phone so he could check and make changes. At no point did he use my name or go through any kind of ID process. This is a scam. BEWARE I called sky who confirmed they do not make calls like this.

Automated call SCAM AMAZON claiming AMAZON PRIME was expiring. The number is clearly spoofed and did not originate from St Austell, very poor voice quality. Slow to "talk" when picked up.

'Chris' told me he was from a Claims Company based in Truro and he was calling about a previous ppi claim that I had been underpaid for. He was quite convincing giving me the company reg no & address so I could confirm he was legit! He knew my address/DOB and the details of my previous claim. The Claims Company only has 2 employees, neither based in London! Definitely a scam beware as he was very convincing and never asked for bank details! This phone number is a scam, recording initially saying funds gone from your bank to pay Amazon £500 and also £700 to someone else. Select 2 to talk to someone, sounds like a call centre with an American with a strong accent. They queried my birth date and rang off. Beware a scam.

Scam connected to the Excel Hotel group, part of ONA Group in Spain. When rung back it goes to an international ring tone and an extension on a phone system.

This was a computer pretending to be Amazon wanting my bank details.

Some nonsense about the care/warranty package for my tv, cooker and washing machine. Asked for company name and gave me two different names. Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. The bloke on the other end was really thick and gullible and I hope his wife leaves him and his mother sleeps with his best friend

When I was called today from this phone number, my phone showed me that is a spam suspicious, so I didn't answer!

Fraud Claim to be calling from the bank, stating there is a problem. Please ignore and block call.

Caller with an Asian accent said he was from o2 and I had been selected to have a 50% discount on my tariff. I have has these calls before and seemed to be an obvious scam, so I briefly went along… The caller said I would receive an email from o2 but first I would have to pass security and he would send me 2 links with questions. Told him he was a scammer and hung up. Reported call & number to the ICO

A man with a strong foreign accent rang to say we had £137 refund from the insurance on our washing machine and wanted bank details so the refund could be made. Definatly a fraudulent attempt.

This is a scam. Claiming to be our child who has a broken phone so has got a temporary number. Then asking for a money transfer as their bank account is locked

I received a call from someone who said they were from BT and that they had detected that my BT landline had a low broadband speed... This is unlikely as I don't use BT!!!! This is obviously a scam. Checked the 01322225284 number that came up on my display and found that the caller was phoning from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at Dartford Bridge, UK! Beware, do not give personal or banking details!!!!
