Caller claimed to be from EE customer service, told me I have a good credit rating and I was inline for an upgrade, I informed her I was not an EE customer so then she said I must be an O2 customer, I told her I wasnt and she then droppped the carrier on me as I was suspicious.

Caller had very strong Indian accent, everytime I've spoken to EE they've had UK based centres, also when questioned about call origin she wasn't sure where call was routed from...very suspicious Definitely seemed very scam-like

Just had a call from this number saying they were from National Accident Line. Definite scam. They were asking about an accident I had a few months ago and that I was due compensation. Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.
