I have had several calls from this number every day for about a week but no one spoke. Today a woman tried to tell me that I had a virus on my computer that got worse every time I turned it on. She said she was from Windows technical and would help with the fault if turned my computer on. I told her that my son is a computer technician and also that I knew that she wasn t legitimate (I had already checked the number and found this site). She obviously hung up!
Same experience as others, I was called on my Australian mobile and asked for by name. I asked who was calling and the male caller said "It's Elliot" and then hung up. Called the number back and it's an Avaya voicemail, extn 481 not available.

SCAM / SPAM pretend to call from BT and warning my ip was hack. asking to press 1 to call back. totally scammer.
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438667xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

This number called. A Scottish lady telling me she was from an insurance company I've never heard of and stating that they'd had report that I'd been in a car accident. She was quickly told where to go before they hung up. Scam!!!
