No one called Ben Newman could possibly have lived here for the last 20 years, as we have and had our number for 20 years and are on TPS, so either someone has misused our number or they are lying. A foreign sounding man introduced himself as John Parker and said I was due for refund of bank charges. I gave him my dob (I recently claimed charges and for a second thought it was genuine.)I would never give bank details and said so. I just said Lloyds bank(not true).He said his boss will phone me today. They called this morn and I didn t answer. Dreading the phone ringing now and worried giving my dob was a dangerous thing. He didn t swear but got more impatient as the call went on.

The caller from this number suggests I'm their fathers wife! Thanking me for being supportive. Mmm dodgy to me as I have no children of my own but a step daughter NOT step son as the caller named himself John.
SCAM Has tried several times to tell me that I have no loft insulation-when asked does he know who he is calling and where and how does he know, he prattles on for 30 seconds and then must realise that he is getting nowhere. Today I just said "its you again" and he said "have a nice day" and rang off. He needs to be stopped before he does real damage!
