Recent Road accident scam! Haven't had one for 11 years!
SPAM rang me several times claiming they were UK mobile but when I googled the number it comes up with a chip shop number… trying to hear what he was saying wasn’t good as there was A LOT of background noise and the connection was really bad said he was called John from UK Mobile…. Clearly not!

SCAM Call from Annie DeSouza - claimed my BT internet connection had been hacked. When asked for details was referred to her supervisoor Aran, who got increasingly short with me, then wanted to take control of my computer to show me. Apparently my connection will be cut in 1 hour. Asking to access my computer to show me that it has been hacked. Multiple calls and managed to get this number to ring to confirm they are legitimate
SCAM; recorded message claiming to be from BT Internet department (they're not our ISP), saying they'd tried to contact (they hadn't) and they were going to disconnect us. Put the phone down but no doubt they would have tried to get money or details from us.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1916719xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, car accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
