SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.

I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.

They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. Wanting to know what my cover was and who it was being left to and that they could lower my payments and increase my cover. Asked them who they were.phinong on behalf of! Not my life insurance company ???? contacted my insurance company who conformed they do not use brokers and to always use them direct for anything

Spammed me with calls over a few days that I kept missing. When I picked up, they claimed to be from Steadman-Chase in London. I didn't really believe them and they tried to convince me to invest, along with trying to throw terms at me to sound smart. When they finally accepted that I wasn't interested, they abruptly hung up. Block this number!

This company reported to be Heating Services, claims to act on behalf of British Gas Homecare and deals with all their support services. They rang to say they are reducing the cost of my homecare cover and including plumbing and electricity repairs. All I need to do is amend my Direct Debit. This is a company scamming customers as they had all me details.
