call regarding car accident even though I do not drive & travel by bus
As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

I answered the phone to a confident sounding male who I knew was trying to sell something as he began with the usual "I hope I find you well this afternoon". He said our property was on their database as having old fashioned loft insulation. I immediately interrupted him to tell him he was wrong, we have modern insulation and that we don't want it up to the rafters as the loft is boarded and used for storage. Guy calls saying I qualify for a refund due to a prior overpayment and that he can help me claim it. I ask where he s calling from, he says "consumer services". Starts asking for my banking details and I have to interrupt him again to ask what company the "consumer services" relates to. He answers with Reactiv Media and the continues badgering me for bank details. I stop him to say I don t recognise the name of the company and if he could remind me what service I purchased from them. He hung up.
Have had repeated calls from this number over the last week or so, when answered there is only silence, no response.
