Received a suspicious call from this number claiming to be from EE. The caller had a strong Indian accent and asked for my account details. Immediately sensed a scam and hung up. Remember, never disclose your personal information to unsolicited calls.

Wanted to talk about my life insurance policy but said it was an "AIG policy" which it isn't. When questioned on this he repeated the same thing once and then stealthily changed it to say he was working with my provider and AIG. Double checked and the two companies don't appear related. He then started on the spiel where he called it a personal policy which it isn't. Let him continue to waste his time and then told him the truth when he asked at which point he hung up on me. Total scam BS.

I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. The phone number 020 3290 6119 is a scam. Someone called introducing himself as Peter Jones from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd . they are impersonating a business and personal name by using this landline number to sell a personal loan and trying to get money from people.I checked Finance and Investment solutions Ltd by FCA, and I have been told that Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company offering only mortgages and its telephone number is totally different from this phone number

The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. With a call that early in the morning, I thought my son had been in a car accident or something :-(. Very unhelpful and distressing. No idea what's been going
