This is the HP support number. I had been speaking to them about an issue with my HP laptop, so they did have a legitimate reason to call me a few days ago, but the case had been closed so I chose not to take this call.

I ve just had a call from this number (well spoken English male) offering me a nuisance calls device. I questioned him coming to the cost of the service he asked if I am over 65 and in this case it will be 2 pounds a year (!) for 3 years after which it will be free !!! I wanted him to speak to my husband but he was not available at the moment. He hung up.

Called both my mobile and my landline - both numbers have voicemail facility, but no message left on either! If it s important enough to call, they should leave a message. Told me about a wellness survey I had conducted, which happened to be true. She then tried to entice me with a free trial to " help their research". She denied anything about wanting to sell me anything but this is patently untrue. boarderline scam as untruthfull.

Answered this call and asked where he got my nuber from, he hung up. Tried dialling it and got a recorded message from bt the number has not been recognised

Nuisance caller. I will prosecute this person for cold calls. Sometimes there is no answer when I lift the receiver; sometimes a female voice says "hello" and hangs up. They may have set the number so that when people dial "1471" the nuisance caller is still on the line and instead of the BT response to 1471 my phone is rigged to dial the caller s number. I am contacting the police with a view to prosecuting the caller for being a pest.
