Someone from this number got through to my answering machine but didn t speak. Call centre noises in the background though.

saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

Joe. I said "You re coming up as a nuisance call on my phone. Why is that?". He identified himself as Joe from a company called Clear Answer working on behalf of EE.
