I love these calls. This one was from UK Times. On a previous occasion they asked for me by my real name. I said I had passed on (take that as you wish) and I gave them a fictitious name which they used this time. I answered all the questions and now hope to receive phone calls from all the sponsors which I can then report to the Information Commissioner s Office. As the call was from overseas the TPS has absolutely no control over these kinds of callers.

Phoned today at 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 2.50pm, 5pm, 6.20pm. Called yesterday at 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 5pm. Didn't leave any messages.

SCAM call. Recorded message saying Amazon Prime are about take a ?90 payment ... to stop this, press 1 ... Must think I was born yesterday!

Asian male on the line couldn't understand a word he said. I made no comment and hung up.

Pure phishing - ignore & delete.

Trying to say they are from Crime Prevention and asking to pay to go into a magazine at cost. Would avoid like the plague

Car accident claim scam-mongers, probably a robot, female voice, said a company name so quickly I couldn t catch it. The opening speech was along the lines of I m calling because you were in a car accident that wasn t your fault, is that right? . Said no and put the phone on one side - call ended after 23 seconds, but at least it was at their cost. Am registered with TPS for this mobile, so will report and block.

Automated call says you are a prize winner £250 Premium rate number if you complete some questions.

Getting silent callers from these and sum of other numbers of Scotland, Oxford etc,.

Automated call claiming to be from HMRC due to fraud on 'my account' with the threat of immediately being arrested if I didn't continue with the automated call - hung up as I find this highly unlikely.

Just ignore

I do not have debt but these scum phone all times of day & evening refusing to take my number off their call list. It is just plain old harassment & they should be prosecuted for it.

Call from this number, guy said he was from TalkTalk, I queried this and said I thought he was lying, he hung up. Believe it to be scammers.

Same as Anne except that the company keep calling /or leaving messages and they are always a recorded message - am very fed up with their calls.

Claimed to be from Aviva, asking about life insurance. Asked who my provider was, told him I don t know, he hung up. Clearly fake

Called a couple of times, but cut off when I picked up. I think it is a spoofed ID as the first 5 digits are a local number but the next two appear ficticious.

Manchester seems to be the Spam call capital of Britain at the moment. Here s another number that never leaves a voicemail and which I don t recognise.

Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.

Client reported someone from this number has called 4-5 times in the last 2 weeks saying that he owed money.No other details.They gave correct surname but wrong initial. Gave correct postcode but no other info. Client has no debts/loans. Client very vulnerable, distressed by these calls( one was after 8pm)
