01482 293843 called me several times. I called back and got an automated message saying welcome to Vodafone all of our operators are busy right now please hold blah blah blah... I hung up. My broadband contract has just ended with Vodafone and I already renewed it with them on a social tariff. Maybe the call was connected to that. I saved the number to contacts so the name will come up if they call again and I'll answer it to find out. Like many I don't answer withheld numbers or numbers I don't recognise.
We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. Told him I had done that already this morning and was quite happy with it but he was insisting I tried it on my computer or laptop. I was apparently overpaying for the speed i was getting and should be refunded.?!?!? hung up at that point, I couldn't be bothered listening anymore.

SCAM - Claiming I ordered an iPhone 13 through Amazon, decided to play along. He requested that I put him on speaker phone so he could run through filling a form in. Asked for him to send it through email, he said I (as in myself) am not authorised for email, whatever that means. I queried again that I assume I will be notified through email, and for some reason continued to state I am not authorised. I can't believe the guy actually thought I would enter a random URL in to fill in a form, must be nuts!
