Claimed ti be shaw cover insurance brokers Phoning on behalf of the bog 5 insurance companies. Wanting to know what my cover was and who it was being left to and that they could lower my payments and increase my cover. Asked them who they were.phinong on behalf of! Not my life insurance company ???? contacted my insurance company who conformed they do not use brokers and to always use them direct for anything
SCAM Got 2 calls today, first one at 8am with a man with a indian accent who wasn't sure what name to call the caller and second one a woman more confident but as soon as I said that I was going to report her number at Action Fraud she started to panic. I made her believe that she was recorded and she change her tone of voice to terminate the call asap. Seems that they only hire Indian people behind this number.

SCAM be careful as this number purports to be from BT and my IP Internet address has been compromised possibly by the Russians or Chinese and could be used for money laundering. When I said I only used Internet for my television he got annoyed and wanted to speak with my husband! Said no husband, so he closed conversation and said he'd call back!!

This was an Automated machine call stating it was HMRC (07278-161158). I am not aware of any issues I have with HMRC and reason to search if this is a scam.

He wanted to know how we got out, told him none of his business. He claimed that he was from a company investigating the validity of the claims. Insisted he wasn't toting for business. Person claiming to be a loft insulation company and that we had dangerous stuff in our loft. When pushed, they wouldn't give a name of the company. When I told them we were a business they said they had the wrong number. Most likely a scam
