Scam Claiming to be from Virginmedia
Called me today 14/3/23 says that from housing repair team. They got my details from my housing provider. Only thing is I'm homeless. So where did they get my name and number from? Be careful if contacted by this number

Received call from this number with a recorded voice claiming to be from "bank fraud department" stating that large amount of money has been taken from my account. I have since checked the number and it appears to be a legitimate local school number. However, the received scam call was recorded on my phone as being from this number.

Called saying from 02 on a very bad line offering loyalty discount. Said I wasn’t interested so he hung up and then got a security text from o2 with a one time code on it saying if someone has called me, they don’t work for o2 and to hang up the phone

This is linked to a scam where a company is contacting O2 customers offeri g a 40 percent discount on your tarriff. Do not answer, do not give your details under any circumstances.
Had a call from this number saying she was from ee offering 45% off told her I was with o2. 3 minutes later the same woman rings on a different number with the exact same pitch but said she was from o2.

This number is The Lexo Club, a luxury concierge membership service, and they were calling me about my application to become a member. Not a scam number.

SCAM I received 4 calls from this number today, between 16.47 pm / 16.49 pm / 16.51 pm / 17.02 pm. It was an unrecognised number, so it went straight to my voicemail. No voicemails, were made. Scam Number... When answered, you hear the "hiccup" meaning you were on an Autodialer and because you've answered, the "hiccup" sound is where the computer is connecting a scam agent. Personally, any call I hear that sound, I hang up, search the number and 9 out of 10 times (9/10) end up Barring the Number. Hope this helps.

Supposedly from Sky refund department. Checked number and it is an O2.
Indian call centre person (could hear others in the background trying to scam others), claiming to be from the Utilities Department. Told him I knew he was a scammer as there is no such thing as the Utilities Department. He hung up and I blocked the number. They also use 0161 669 0643 and 0640. Seems they have purchased quite a few numbers to scam people.
