Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). Out of curiosity I navigated to the EVRI website and entered a combination of the above and the full set. EVRI did not recognize it any of it. It was a English talking guy who was talking about Slovak Government.
Answered because it was a local number, it was a recorded message informing me she was from Visa protection (or some such) and a £300 payment to Amazon and £1000 and odd to elsewhere were pending, press #1 for help if I had not authorised them. Bogus caller purporting to be from amazon, used my name which I confirmed and he asked for confirmation that I had ordered a new i-Phone 12 which I had not. This is just a bluff/smokescreen to raise anxiety and alarm. Caller asked how I usually access Amazon and requested that I login to my account. My curiosity about the call stopped here. I told the caller that I did not trust the call and hung up. To confirm, there has been no Amazon activity on my account. The caller simply wanted me to open it.

Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. Told her I knew she was a scammer, at which point she hung up.
