I think it could be PPI advertising as I recently filled in a form online (although I did click to not receive any marketing calls). When I phoned the number back, there was an option to enter your number to then remove the information from their database. I did so. I run my own photography business and they seem to be trying to sell advertising. It seems to be an Oxfordshire number, with very strong Indian and sometimes west African accents. Queried why calling as this was not my internet provider and told that Virgin Media responsible for security of the entire internet! Then said she was in. Virgin Technical Dept.
