My answerphone is permanently on to intercept this sort of thing. These people have started leaving malicious and abusive messages. Thought this went beyond telemarketing so reported them to police. SCAM This is a scam. Saying from Virgin Media broadband has been compromised. The last two days I have received the same phone call from this number and 01247653898 and 01494297243 all foreign sounding people. Don't answer.
Indian guy called up claiming I ve had an accident in the last 3 years, I advised the guy no I haven t had an accident, line went silent for a moment. He then asked if I can do him a favour? Which was to lend him money as he is from Pakistan and has no money, I immediately put the phone down.
