Claimed to be calling from O2 sales department offering '40% discount on your call'. When I asked the person to provide an email address, didn't want to pursue the call further. Until recently these numbers were from a lady speaking Chinese, who then switched to English prompting a message that indicted. Suspected Scam I recieved a message from this number shortly after a private number phone call stating i had hit their car and left a message with my phone number (i havent hit any cars nor left my number) I then received text message asking why i hit their Car followed by another asking for my insurance details.
Continue to call every day but change the digits slightly, always hang up as i wait for someone to talk when accepting the call.

Scammers. An indian man called saying he is from Sky broadband and needs to check something about the security of the connection. He asked if I had an android phone where I could download a specific app (TeamViewer QuickSupport or AnyDesk Remote Desktop). If you install these apps they will try to get remote access to your phone and will steal everything they can. Just hang up and report the number.

Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.

Do not trust this number - it is my landline number which has been 'spoofed' by a scammer. I have reported it to Ofcom and my service provider but there is apparently nothing that can be done to prevent this illegal activity in the short term.
