SCAM - got a text advising me to call this number re a life insurance policy set up , I don’t bank with Lloyds and have up no recent standing orders

Didn't answer. No message left. Haven't called back

Scam (Debt) kept the guy occupied for 15 mins giving him fake details from my end, he was insistant it wasnt a scam but when i questioned where he was and that i could hear bengali in the background he turned nasty calling me every bad name under the sun. if it is not a scam why get so rude. Blocked this number now, (i love wasting these guys time

If the search cannot tell me where the call came from the it must definitely be suspicious.

SPAM Person asked for a name that I have never heard of. I told him sorry, wrong number. He said "that's fine, what's your name please?" I said he doesn't need my name as he has called the wrong number and he got mad at me telling me that I'm rude and should tell him name. I hung up.

SCAM - texted to say I owe postage and a link. The number isn’t linked to any courier company and isn’t how companies contact in these situations.

A scam call telling me I'm getting a £202 refund from Sky. Then wanting to confirm account information. I don't have Sky.

This number has called me twice today telling me there has been unusual activity on my bank card £300 from Amazon and a further payment of £1500 elsewhere This must be a scam number as checking with the bank there has been no activity and no pending activity i did not ring the numbers the caller advised me to

Claimed to need your details as part of the “tax advisory group” to claim money back from HMRC. When I said I had done that direct they said they can go back the maximum amount of years. I said yes you can do that direct and then he said okah bye and hung up.

Claims to be from Amazon, reporting unusual activity on account. Suspicious.

I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.

This number is from a batch of similar numbers: 07488871686. 07488871703. 07488871758, 07488871735, 07488871757, 07488871649, 07488871624, 07488871560, 07488871705. Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.

07979532983 called 10May23 at t1:21hrs left msg on ansa machine same recorded message as was received ON 05/05/2023: 020704859199 called 5 May 23 at 14:40hrs, recorded message.... along the lines... "Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". The organisation using this number are expert scammers. They already had my o2 mobile phone number, contract account number and asked me to confirm my address before offering a discount on my tariff. I was aware it was a scam and played dumb for a while until they sent me the text which would have given them full access to my account had I replied to it. After wasting their time for 10 minutes, I told them I knew they were scammers and they became very abusive, then misscalled my number around 20 times
