SCAMCaller kept asking me questions and kept talking over me when I tried to ask him questions. Really dodgy call. Wanted to send someone out to look at the insulation in my loft and to see if there was any damp or rot, if there was then I could have it sorted for a fee. The call just rang alarm bells for me and is almost definitely a scam of some sort.

Text at 10 past midnight claiming to be from Amazon, surely can’t be difficult to track down those responsible.
SCAM / SPAM said they were from Visa Headquarters and that a payment of £600 had been made on my Barclaycard. I don’t have a Barclaycard and when I suggested this they hung up. It was an Indian man and the phone number is a Rugby code.

Received a call from this number, answered but no-one spoke. Decided to stay on the line to see what happened. Complete silence for about 30 seconds then the line went dead. When I 1471 d I got the number 0161 918 0023. On calling the number, I am informed that "This number is temporarily out of order"! Can someone please explain to me the legality of this?
