SCAM An person, speaking bad English trying to convince me that there is a problem with my Windows computer and claiming to be from Microsoft. I did not hold the line long enough to figure out what they want me to do, ended with identifying the Windows computer by the presence of Windows key on the keyboard :-)

callcentre background noise, called about a car accident. I asked how they got my details, they said from "insurance". I asked which insurance company and was told to "shut up" before they hung up. Dialled 1471 and get the number, tried to call it back and get engaged tone
UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese. 03330 302091 Received call 20.23 Wednesday 23/9/2020 to an EX Directory BT landline. Phone rang I picked it up & didn’t answer – they hung up. It appears that this number has been targeting Bournemouth, Manchester, London, Stirling and York. The No. hails from Northeast France and using Manchester as the UK hopping point.

Safe number Sky VIP. I ended up with a much better deal. The number 0800 862 0818 is genuine, but everyone should always consider if a number is spoofed - try to get them to tell you something about you that they know already. Eg if they ask for your email, tell them a fake one and see if they know it's fake. If they don't, they may not be genuine.
