01214 306470 called me on Monday 22 Aug 2022. An automated message with a male voice advising, "This is an urgent message from your bank. Two payments have been taken from your account ..." I hung up. A dangerous FRAUD CALL.

1 missed call from this number and a couple from a private number a few minutes later. I never respond to these unknown and unexpected calls. Anyone who knows me knows I'd never answer.

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.

SCAM The person calls and reminds you of a meeting you are supposed to join and that he is sending a link for the meeting, which you can access using a code. As you speak, he sends a code which he asks you to read out to him. He seems to be calling members of various WhatsApp groups. He has a West Africa accent

Boiler room investment scam claiming I had opened a dealing account with them (which I had not).

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. SCAM pretending to be First Direct Fraud department, which it’s not. As soon as I said I would call FD back myself they hung up very fast. The number is similar to the First Direct number but is NOT legitimate. Do not give any details of any kind to them.

Claim to be undertaking a survey but asking questions about private health insurance and how much I pay per month and who insurance is with. This is not a UK government department calling. Rings from different numbers all over the country - put through a router to make it appear as if they are from different cities. Could be dangerous for someone who believes this to be a genuine government call
