Rang 1008, today, Thursday 04/08/22. A/phone kicked in - message reference large payments to Amazon, press buttons to resolve. Rang off. A bit frightening, as is my local area number.

These cowboys are so poor that they use a Hotmail email address. He called me a f*cking id*ot as he hung up when I exposed his illegal activities. Claiming to be from Sky, suggesting my Internet has been breached. Asked that I get my mobile phone and go to Google. I refused and the man got really angry, and shouted I need to do this to fix the problem. I refused and hung up.
It seems as though this could be a nuisance caller. My husband and I have both had calls from this number today, on our mobiles, while on holiday in France. It's slightly worrying, as we have many friends and relatives in the Manchester area. Our phones silence any unknown numbers but as no voicemail messages were left we are assuming the calls weren't important.

Carefully worded opening sales pitch offers Home Owners with a Gas boiler over 7 years old or more a replacement boiler at no additional cost to them, or some such spiel. What the Sales team deliberately fail to mention in the opening spiel is that the cost of the boiler is met through the up to 50% saving on the Home Owners annual gas bill. This only becomes clear some way into the call.
