SCAM - pretending to be from Lloyds Bank... asking to call on 01332 556003 if a standing order for £537 to NVG Life Insurance had not been set up by the recipient. Recipient has no account with LLoyds, so definitely a scam.

I doubt a caller from Russia would be legitimately calling me, any half-witted scammer would mask their number if calling from such a terrorist state, so I suspect that it was supposed to be a masked UK mobile number with too many digits. Whatever, it is an unwelcome call.

Saying that was from Virgin Media, asking to access my computer because my landline was corrupted. It was the 4th call today, different numbers but same story and each time they hang up when I told them I am recording the conversations. I had this type of phone call before and I checked with virgin media and they said is fraud, do not give any information because they do not contact customers with such matter.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. Obvious fraud. They claim to be from o2, wanting to save you money. They actually use o2s own "forgotten password" link do send you a message directly from o2, with a code that they can use to access your account. DO NOT GIVE THEM THIS CODE!

SCAM - fraud scam- Evri claiming there was money outstanding on postage of a parcel.

Telling me I have had two withdrawals from my bank - one being from Amazon for £300 and the other for a couple of thousand from abroad. I had a phone call from (supposedly local) yesterday also saying this! Ignored it.

Scam - £700 Amazon order and money transfer. Hang up immediately.

Very suspicious but I can't work out what is happening??? A guy called me saying he had a missed call from me. I didn't recognize his number and thought it would be very unlikely for me to ring a random number like that by accident. He insisted that I had called him though and he was merely calling back. Checked my dialed call log - no I hadn't called him!!! I'm therefore trying to work out what the scam might be???

Scam call - woman rabbiting on about energy saving, need to send an energy consultant to my house to do a survey. 'Helen' good at talking but rubbish at listening! Asked her twice what is the name of her company but she kept talking fast. Asked her if she knows what TPS means (Telephone Preference Service supposed to stop unwanted calls), kept rabbiting on so asked again at which point she terminated the call.
