Insurance scam fishing call
Fraud - Incoming call from a foreign call centre. Person on the phone not very bright. When challenged with questions such as “what bank is calling me?” The person was unable to answer and ultimately terminated the call. I knew it was a scam, but just like to waste their time as much as they waste mine.
Called claiming they had heard about my accident - kept talking over me when I asked them to remove me from their list so screamed down the phone. Seemed to do the trick.

She said can you turn on your computer I replied do you think I am f****** mad to which she replied yes. I got a phone call from AMS about the car accident that I had in the last year and a half. When I asked when exactly this accident was supposed to have taken place they couldn't tell me. I asked where they were calling from and I was told Glasgow. I said to the person that they didn't sound Scottish to me and they hung up! They are a total scam company.
They call throughout the week and hang up. I have reported them twice through the Which campaign against nuisance calls and texts

So after speaking to my local council office they have informed me that i am not in debt with council tax and they have not instructed this company to collect anything. So i guess im just gonna have to repay there kind phone calls and house visit with a police complaint. Good luck SCOTT & CO

Had a few calls from this number recently. a recorded message saying according to their records we re paying too much for electricity press 2 for details. i didn t press 2 as i use comparison sites to check this sort of info.

When i challenged the caller she said her name was Wendy and she was calling from manchester and it was regarding a hoilday i had booked in march next year. i have booked no holiday, and a soon as i said i had been in touch with the police regarding calls form the wales area she hung up. hmmm

The person calling said they were from Carphone Warehouse and wanted to talk to me about upgrading my phone (but didn't seem to know what model phone I had, plus this mobile isn't with Carphone Warehouse), but the number is showing up online as belonging to a newsagent in Daventry so be cautious as I'm not sure it's legit...
