The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. Received a call from this number regarding compensation for an accident I had last year. When I told the caller I wasn t interested, he said "well, you re just going to keep getting calls then!" I said, "Well, you can do, but you d be an idiot as i just won t answer" and he said "and you re a slag!". I replied "I don t think that s very professional!" and he put the phone down on me.

They have stolen the number and are using it to scam people for their credit card details. I believe they have now found a way to generate random numbers that will show up on your call display, yet are not from the sender.

A scam at 8:02 in the morning. Automated call claimed to be my internet provider (did not say which one) and that due to illegal activity on my line would close my link in the next 24 to 48 hours unless I pressed 1 on the phone keypad (which I declined to do). I did not respond but left line open until caller ended the call.
This is a scam texted me claiming to be EE unable to take payment etc when my bill has already been paid and have Proof do not press on the link in the text message.
