The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. This is a scam. they try to get you to invest. they never give up and will use different numbers all over England. Each person who calls you is of Indian origins. Not possible in England not to have one person who is not and indian. Especially with Englands diversity. Just dont answer or hang up and block the number.

This number is being used to carry out impersonation scams through WhatsApp. Serious pressure being exerted claiming to be a family member in financial trouble. Fraud carried out via a Metro Bank Account sort code 23 05 80 using various account numbers and Metro Bank don't seem to be concerned. Has been reported to own bank and Action Fraud. This number is causing untold distress and needs to be taken out of service.

I was just called on this number. Obviously a computerised call as there was a pause before someone with an American accent spoke. Wanted me to confirm a purchase I had made for over £3,000. I put the phone down. SCAM SCAM

Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.

Scammers from India, East, Europe pretending they are based in London. They say they will help you make money trading stocks. Very persistent. AVOID.
