Santander left a voice mail, which I thought was a little bit suspicious, as I have never heard or had a bank leave any kind of voice mail. So I rang the official phone number that is on the back of my card and after being on hold for nearly an hour they eventually answered and apparently they had nothing written on my account about anyone who tried to contact me and left a message. Someone from the fraud department will be contacting me, so I will find out if this number is legit or if they are scammers

I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. No one else seems to have searched for it (the other search with no review was still me). I'm not completely sure. But this number doesn't appear anywhere on Google (while other legit places' number appear with the source). It feels very untrustworthy. The call on itself was strange. A machine voice said that a letter was returned, and that legal actions will be implemented. It didn't explain why would the return of said letter would require legal actions nor the content of the letter. Very iffy.

Smooth talking guy, asked for me by name. Wanted to talk to me regards my BT bill. I asked him what the problem was. He said no problem, I am your BT agent and could do a better deal. I said to him "but you aren't BT are you" and he told me he was authorised, had a number etc etc. Didn't seem too pleased when I said to him "You are not BT you are JTalk and hung up. Rang back but I let it ring out. Don't need to do business with a liar.
Incoming call saying Hammersmith & Fulham Borough of 02087483020 So I looked it up as didn't answer it looks genuine but why would a London Borough for Housing phone me up when I live up North is beyond me. So for this am sorry to say it's a SCAM. Compared to the other 3 Comments left with Reviews

Claimed to be able to do home repairs free of charge. I told him the council do my repairs. He said they (council) are falling behind and would give a year's free rent if anything went wrong. When I told him that I would still have to go through council, he hung up.

Someone using this phone number in WA as +44 7879164010 and forcefully sending parcels to deliver as a gift and charging Indian currency 25000 INR for custom clearance. This is a cyber crime happing everyday.
Missed call No message or text. Called back, message said "state your name and say 6". I said "Sydney James Six" a couple of times but nothing happened. Why would I tell someone my real name so they could associate it with my phone number? Sounds very suspicious

A rude, aggressive woman called Stephanie Holland rang me, from Metanoia Institute.

Unclear line - John from EE trying to offer an upgrade to an iPhone.....said I was happy with my current phone. He asked what I was using and hung up when I said he should know if he has my record.
This was a recorded message saying your credit card had been used, (no name, no card reference) for a payment to Amazon and a large payment to an over sea recipient and to press 1, to allow the transaction or 2 to speak to an advisor to stop the transaction. Using 1471 to check the caller number, the number given was a 16 digit number. 0179582197582587. This was definitely a SCAM call.
I get repeated calls from this number, which I don't answer. I do not know who the caller is. They always leave a blank voice message of a few seconds with no one speaking. I assume it is a telemarketer given the number of calls, and short messages with no voice.,
