Called by this number on 5th may. I`m told my someone has tried to take two payments totaling thousands from my account. The man did`nt mention my name but said he`d transfere me to another department. If the transaction was wrong. He also did`d mention what card or bank was being threatened. Since I rarely have more than £50 in the bank , Itake it as a case of rotten cheese.

More to add to the entry above... I think he's a very clever robotic system as he doesn't quite react naturally to questions. I suspect it can also spoof the phone number that it's reportedly calling from as my phone has a couple of missed calls from very very similar numbers: 01305300352, 01305300289, 01305300287. It's obviously fishing for vulnerable targets.

I didn t answer when it rang - silent call with no message. I dialled it back [after 141]: recorded message: "the number you have dialled has not been recognised". Tried twice more to make sure. Same response.
