Called saying we were due ?7k from our mortgage, lots of talking fast trying to confuse you. Said they charge ?995 no win no fee but then wanted my cc number. He got very aggressive when I refused to give it him. Terrible company scam keep away.
Seems to be an automated call in Chinese, claiming to be from Barclays Bank and asserting that my account will be closed within the next two hours unless I contact them. Dodgier than the Artful Dodger eating jammy dodgers in Dodge City!

These people have been calling us weekly for last 3 months asking for my partner by name about an accident claim . There has been no accident. A few weeks ago I told them I had looked them up on the internet and there are multiple reports of them harassing people for sales and to remove my number, the calls stopped for about 3 weeks but now they have started again! Going to have to have them blocked by tel co. It s the only way they will stop, should be reported for harassment

This number has been calling me on my home phone continuously claiming to be from Sky TV. Indian sounding woman the first time and the other times from a man. When I answer the phone it takes a while for them to start speaking. Poor English - same scam as another number claiming there has been a breach of your sky line and they need you go go on your computer to fix it. Be aware!!
Received a call from this number today, then decided to check out any reviews. The individual announced themselves as Alpine Group but having recently received a call from another similar number last week, I told the female caller to STOP THERE! then hung up. Just had another call from this lot - I was sleeping at the time. When I told the lady that I was TPS and had requested that my number was taken off these people's records...
You cannot be charged for answering a call. The numbers are spoofed by scammers and are from outside the UK so the TPS has no effect.
Scam. They ask for personal information and try to steal your card details, acting in a professional manner over the phone call. Never reveal any personal info. Rather ask them to verify what they know about you and perhaps you may have a chance to find out where they got your phone number or data from.

Queried why calling as this was not my internet provider and told that Virgin Media responsible for security of the entire internet! Then said she was in. Virgin Technical Dept. When I said it seemed unbelievable that Virgin Media managed security for entire internet was asked why i hadn’t terminated call. Caller hung up and called me disrespectful!
