So far I ve received two calls from this number within 24hrs after an online enquiry for broadband & phone with EE. I was just "shopping around" for a better deal. I don t think I ll bother to look any further now if this is what s going to happen as a result, with endless and unauthorised telesales calls. I was called on this number. I returned the call but didn't get through.
This number rang at 11.48 this morning. Recorded message (male) purporting to be from BT about suspicious activity on my internet account which was going to be disconnected. I have had these calls before so I just disconnected and blocked the number. Last week I had an unsolicited call from a different number, again a recorded message about something to do with grants for insulation etc. My number is obviously in the hands of yet another group of scammers so expecting a few more!
