A scammer trying to get my IP to then improve my internet connection but really just to hack me, told me that he was from BT and quite convincing but after playing along I terminated the call. Definitely a scammer.

Rang up asking if Id just bought an iphone, and then asked for a one time password that had just been texted to me from Amazon so that they could cancel the transaction. Blocked the scammer.
Yeah, these idiots keep calling me too. My advice is to play along and waste their time. I spent hours providing them false contact and banking details. They got really angry when they kept asking me to confirm the account number. It feels so good wasting their time when then had full intentions of wasting myne / whilst trying to rob me blind . on a hunch i have just rang this number back and it is The Oaks Hospital in Colchester. the name that come up on my phone on the incoming call is D Shuttleworth. no idea why
Claim to be from the Driveway Centre in Southampton about doing a brochure about their resin driveways. Wanting people to have driveway done so cold calling. We are registered with TPS so when asked why they didn’t check this he put the phone down!

Genuine Nat west fraud I telephoned my bank to verify this and was told to ring the number back as possible fraudulent activity is noted on my account. Lucky enough the bank was on the ball and I didn’t lose anything but they had denied £100s of pounds from being used on a gambling site

SCAM robo call saying that there has been possible fraudulent activity on my bank account. When I questioned them they refused to say what bank they were, and that they were the 'fraud department'. They got angry so I called them out as the scammer they are and according to the scammer all UK people are idiots. Have reported it to action fraud.

SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!

BEWARE..these are scammers trying to get you to call their ‘bank helpline’ to check about apparently unauthorised debits from your bank account. I hate people who do this. The automated female voice is realistic but banks never do this sort of stunt. BEWARE!
