We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. Could have easily been from abroad as the womans english wasnt great and the call went silent after she had spoken. anyway...

Called asking for someone by name, who doesn't live at this address any more. I asked, who's calling please? They repeated the name. I asked again, who's calling please? and they repeated the name AGAIN. I then said,. NO, Mr X isnt calling, you are... Who are you? to which they muttered,. Fraud pretending to be bank security stating that someone is trying to use my credit card and asking me to press 1. Put the phone down and call block the number. Somehow they are using what sounds like the same voice as my bank system.

I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.

Automated call SCAM. Said they were something like 'Visa Fraud Department' and that there were two suspicious transactions, one an Amazon Gift Card, the other an International Money Transfer. Tried to get me to press 1 to talk to their representative. Had a similar call yesterday, but didn't check the number.

Called saying that they were from bank and that Amazon had taken money from my bank account for items sent abroad.
Recorded message claiming to be from Amazon informing me there was activity on my card £700 they had Stopped my card and to press'1' to update. I presume this is a scam call as no more Amazon or bank queries.
