Cold call from carphone warehouse. Wouldn't take no for an answer so I hung up.
Caller maintained he had received calls from our number. We have never rung him or know who he is or where he'd rung from.
Fraud Pretended to be from my engergy company and tried to extract bank details etc etc.
Phones and cuts off when you answer expecting you to call back at some exorbitant rate. Not happening!
Seems a bit scammy. Automated voice but largely unintelligible.

After picking up the call, a recorded message to let us know the call is recorded played. Once over the line was dropped from their end. A call from "Go Pro services" was expected, perhaps this was a Go Pro service agent? The result of poor training perhaps?

Asked for me by my first name, (the cheek of it). Then claimed to be from social housing repair, as we all know there is no such company (a legit one anyway). Furthermore, I know that my landlord do not deal with anyone that would just cold call tenants, especially one that uses an asian call center. I missed the call and when I rang back, it was answered immediately and bad music started playing.

Fraud: This UK Vodafone mobile number is being used by fraudsters who are targeting people to pay a deposit for an apartment which does not exist. The paid money then goes into a fraudulently opened bank account. It can be evidenced that they also steal peoples identities to open bank accounts and to advertise apartments to rent as described above.
