If this was my bank they would identify themselves as such, and offer data to prove this. This is likely a scam, and best thing to do is hang up. SCAM Someone with an Indian accent called stating they were calling from Microsoft Windows about hackers using my email. They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

01592 675873 called today, missed the call. When i tried to call it back, number was unavailable. Looks like a VoIP number used by scammers, this is their usual trait when trying to call the number back as it's only set to allow dialling out not calling back.
Said they were Visa Fraud dept, and that £800 was scheduled to go to a gambling site in USA. No mention of which bank account or card number.

Called ,me twice in two days not a number I know I didn't answer suspect robot call as it's always same time of day
Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.

Comes up as suspected spam. Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from a South African call centre on a Manchester landline! Claims he works for a company called UK Tariff that finds out if you're paying too much for your broadband or finds better deals. Thing is this so called company harasses with calls like 24/7 from different numbers most of the day. Hoping you're gullible enough to get to the part where you hand over your bank details. Best way is to report and block if it flags as spam.
