this number has used to phone my landline number several times over the past few months. it is automatically blocked by my phone system but today i decided to phone the number from my mobile phone. the number did not engage and dropped out almost immmediately.
Received this call supposedly from 02. It was NOT 02 and was fraudulent! 24th June 2023

Claiming to be a company called Phones Ltd about a 40% discount code for o2 - even though that’s not my network provider. Put another person on the phone when she got flustered, male then started asking me my security question, what model of phone I had, mt network provider was etc. SCAM - avoid!! Trying to hack into my details. Do NOT give any details to this caller!!

28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).

The guy (very strong asian accent but his name is "Jason") said he was from my mobile provider, so I asked who, and he said EE, to which I replied I am not with EE as it doesn't work well in my area, he then said I was lying to him. He proceeded to say he could see everything etc and was kind of creepy, usually I don't swear at call centre staff, even dodgy ones, but this guy was creepy!
I received a text from Vodafone on 41145 they asked me to confirm my age to complete a survey, Vodafone know my age and only contact me via e-mail, I believe this is a scam
Automated message supposedly from HMRC. Hung up before message ended.
Number is not known to me, so I leave it to go to voicemail. The message left is a musical tone. Likely a spam call

Woman called. Said my loft insulation didnt pass, as after a study by the British Lung Foundation found that it could be an irritant and did I want a loft inspection. Told her the house was only four years old. I asked her to identify herself. Said that she worked for loads of eco companies, so I said I trust no one and could she send me an email. This number is being used to carry out impersonation scams through WhatsApp. Serious pressure being exerted claiming to be a family member in financial trouble. Fraud carried out via a Metro Bank Account sort code 23 05 80 using various account numbers and Metro Bank don't seem to be concerned. Has been reported to own bank and Action Fraud. This number is causing untold distress and needs to be taken out of service.

SCAM Guy from tinder without verified photos. Pushed to move on to WhatsApp, then pushed to call, then pushed to Skype. Pushed to know my pictures were recent. Wouldn’t use any other kind of communication. Gave him my socials contacts and he called me controlling and a prick for not opening up a Skype account. Didn’t like it if I didn’t message back within 60 seconds! Not sure what was going on but felt very dodgy. I have blocked it. WhatsApp was also a business account.
Said I was being chased down for tax evasion and to press 1 for more information. Obvious phishing call.
I don’t know who this number belongs to. I have had repeated calls and no message left. A nuisance.
