SCAM / SPAM Automated message allegedly investigating a fraudulent transaction on the Visa card attached to my Amazon account (iPhone refurbishment @ £350). Told to "press 1" to contact Amazon Fraud Detection team otherwise my Amazon account will be suspended. No such transaction showing up on my Amazon account or Visa card. I suspect this is a phishing scam..

Apparently this is the Energy Advice Team and I thought this company were just cold calling me. I soon realised that they were just responding to my application regarding an air source heat pump and solar pv panels on either Facebook or Instagram. I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. An automated voice from a different number said it was HMRC calling, that there was an arrest warrant out for me and this was their last attempt to contact me that I should call 02081442921. Do not call this number. I have informed HMRC of this phishing scam.
