SCAM Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

This no. of man working in scam company who is stealing money from people after giving them indication that everyday they will receive a lot of money. He is speaking about big projects. He is speaking Arabica language and English. Please specially Arabs take care of that persons in that company they named themselves: Qasy, Asem, Ahmed and Ibrahim. +44 7486 464689 This number is a scammer - they send a text saying … “ hey mum I smashed my phone and I'm using a friends phone to msg you their phone is about to die, can you whatsapp me on 07789175547” The top number is based in Russia - the other number in the UK. Do not reply, block both numbers as they are a Russian scammer . I tried calling both numbers from a withheld number and they are both off. DO NOT ADD THEM ON WHATSAPP! DO NOT REPLY TO THEM!

SCAM They say they are HMRC but they are not. HMRC do not call you from a MOBILE number. When challenged with this they hang up.

Recorded voice claiming to be Amazon and saying I'd been charged £95 for Prime, and to dial '1' if I didn't agree. A quick check with the Amazon website confirmed this to be BS. We wonder where dialling '1' would go and at what cost?

The above number texted me today claiming they are Amazon and that there had been an attempt from IP address:42.344.91.27 to login my account.

Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.

SCAM. I get two phone calls every day, and have done for a year. The number is different every time, but the organisation is the same. They appear to have a spoof number system that hides the actual number they call from.

This number not recognised when called back. Assumed to be a scam.

Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.
