A guy with a strong eastern accent, called Jason, phoned me claiming to be from BT, claiming that my Internet address had become visible to everyone and that people would try to scam me. He wanted me to open Google but I said I couldn't. It felt like a scam of some sort.

Coronavirus - this is a scammer making fraud calls under the pretence of calling on behalf of the health service doing market research. Under MRS T&C a company is obliged to reveal the name of the company hes calling from and this guy didnt want to do that. It is some coward sitting at home making false calls, harassing people, he should come out of his phone face-to-face and then i will show him how to hide behind the phone and harass people.

The voice on the other end repeated themselves, I told them again I am not in a council property and an automated AI thanked me for my time and hung up.

I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me. The caller ID showed metro dry cleaners but the caller said they were from carphone warehouse calling about a 'special promotion'. He said he got my number 'from the database'. Hung up and googled the number, possibly a scam using a legitimate business number
