Hung up on me when I refused to give my date of birth. Apparently they are regulated by the ministry of justice so I should trust them. Avoid!!!

A woman with heavily accented English called me this morning from a number with our local dialling code saying the call was from BT and there were reports that we were having trouble with the internet. No problems at all and I said so. She asked me to try the internet, so I told her I couldn’t hear her very well. She cut the call. Funny that! I phoned the number and was told it wasn’t in service!!

However really most of what he said went in one ear and out the other, as I quicky lose interest when getting cold callers! I answered this call as it appeared to be a mobile number. Suspect it was spoofing it s real number. Caller knew my late father s name, wanted to do a 60 second survey. I kept telling him that father wasn t here any more, and that I was moving shortly, but he kept asking questions about how old my washing machine was. I hung up.
Internet, BT if I did have problem with my broadband... I said I don't have an internet at home. Bloke hang up on me.
Woman spoke in an accent I could barely understand. Rang my mobile number and had my name. Asked if I had a work place or private pension. I just terminated the call.
Called this number back and got a pre-recorded message saying I'm todays lucky winner of £1000 or an iPad at which point I hung up and blocked the number!
